Quick Action Needed? updated!

The deadline is Tuesday.  It will only take a minute, so please take the time to make this very important call on behalf of our members.

As you may know, the Steelworkers have filed a large-scale 301 trade case focused on China’s illegal tactics in support of their domestic clean energy industries that are undermining U.S. development of jobs in this sector.  The President has to decide by October 24 whether or not an investigation will proceed on this case and to what scope.

I am asking that you please make a phone call and then forward this and request that they please make a toll free call to the capitol to ask their legislators to sign on to Rep. Sandy Levin’s letter in support of our USW 301 trade case.

A toll-free number to the Capitol Switchboard if needed is: 866-203-4960

Rep. David Wu (updated, signed on)

Rep. Kurt Schraeder (updated, signed on)
