Your Young Adult Children May Gain New Coverage Option?

What does this mean for you:

According to the law, it comes into effect six months after the law passed.  Under our plan, your children who meet all the requirements, will be eligible for enrollment the first day of the plan year thereafter, which is July 1, 2011.  So open enrollment would be allowed at that point.

 "Under the health reform law, young adults up to their 26th birthday can obtain health coverage through their parents’ health insurance plans. This marks an important shift from the rules in effect now, under which young adults usually lose access to their parents’ coverage once they turn 19 or graduate from college.
